I asked my co-worker what he and his fiance wanted for their wedding gift. The next day he brought me a picture from Pintrest of an outdoor table and benches with built in ice and beverage wells. While I liked the picture he sent, it was made of construction grade lumber and built with screws, nails, and bolts. I wanted to re-design this. Looking at the design for an outdoor rustic table from the Wood Whisperer, I modified his project to add in the drink wells. I also made the table and benches a little bigger. I found a Buddhist Temple who was removing an outdoor pergola made from 4×8 Western Red Cedar. I purchased it and resawed all of it to useable dimensions. This is what the final result is:
