A New Twist on a Classic Shelf
This corner shelf is made using maple plywood for the back to offset the rich color of the solid sapele wood. The design was actually borrowed from a photo I saw on Pintrest. Since then I have talked to the designer, Scott Blackwell of Woodcarve, LLC. The curved lines and rounded shelves made this project a fun one tho build.
Here is another version of the shelf that I recently gave to my sister and her fiance for their upcoming wedding gift.
Maple Bookshelf with A Cherry Stain
This was built to match my daughter’s crib and changing table set I built during our pregnancy. This exact bookshelf can be seen in the nursery furniture photo as well. Easy to build in one weekend.
